Written in 2007 by Glenn Sevilla Mas, this play focuses on three former friends reliving the moments when they lost their innocence. This was GK Diola’s first foray into directing for physical theatre, where his actors rediscovered the physical sensations of childlike play.
By playing with fabrics, shadows, and boxes on wheels, the child characters morphed into the very monsters that ruined them forever. Through conversations in rehearsals and prompts on social media, this version of Games People Play invited audiences to confront questions about themselves that they might have been hiding from.
